Your mission: redesign how our business runs.

We’re hiring a senior leader to own systems and automation at Property Hub — driving change across teams, embedding better processes, and making sure improvements stick as we scale.

It’s an exec-level role with a wide remit: you’ll report directly to a founder, work closely with the leadership team, and take charge of building and shaping this function. While you’ll be leading from the front, you’ll also stay close to the detail — mapping workflows, prototyping solutions, and setting the standard for how systems should be built.

Our team is based in Manchester city centre and typically works from the office three days a week. We’re open to different hybrid setups depending on location, though we believe regular in-person time matters in a role like this — where close collaboration and seeing processes in action are critical.

WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH…

We began life as the first property podcast back in 2013, and we’ve since built a property sourcing business that helps our High Net Worth clients to buy more than £100m of property every year.

We’re a content-driven, marketing-led business with huge reach. Our podcast has over 300,000 monthly downloads, we’ve published four of the UK’s top-selling property investment books, and our newsletter and social channels reach tens of thousands every week.

We’ve grown fast but kept our team small (currently 35) — which makes smart systems and automation essential to staying fast, scalable and focused on what matters.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

This is a unique role with a wide remit. You’ll work across teams (finance, customer service, marketing, investment) to understand their needs and build scalable, elegant solutions.

You'll report directly to one of the founders and work closely with the executive team.

To start you’ll work with our Salesforce specialists and a small pool of contractors — but you’ll have the freedom to shape and build the team you need.

You’ll take responsibility for:

  • Owning the roadmap for business systems and automation, making sure we’re focused on the highest-impact projects
  • Leading change across finance, customer service, marketing and investment — from winning buy-in at exec level to ensuring adoption on the ground
  • Managing delivery of internal projects — coordinating developers, admins, analysts and specialists to get things done
  • Selecting and implementing tools for workflow, data and automation — from Salesforce and low-code platforms to emerging AI/LLM solutions.
  • Tracking and reporting business impact — time saved, costs reduced, accuracy improved — to show the value of what’s shipped.
  • Coaching teams and championing an “automation-first” mindset across the company

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You’re an operator who loves fixing how work gets done. You know how to spot broken processes, rally people behind a better way, and push change through until it sticks. At the same time, you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves — prototyping solutions yourself and setting the standard for the team.

You’ll have:

  • A track record of leading cross-functional change projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity about how AI and automation can reshape business operations — and an enthusiasm to experiment with new tools.
  • Strong grasp of business operations (customer service, finance or CRM-heavy teams especially)
  • Enough technical confidence to work with Salesforce specialists, developers and automation tools — and to prototype solutions yourself when needed.
  • Excellent project management skills: balancing speed, quality and stakeholder communication.

Bonus points if you’ve:

  • Worked in a lean, founder-led business before.
  • Driven adoption of new systems or cultural change across teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations or low-code automation tools.
