Automation & Systems Product Manager

Property Hub Holdings Limited

£Compensation package tailored based on qualifications and experience

Job description

Your mission: make our internal ops run like great software.

We’re hiring an Automation & Systems Product Manager to streamline how work gets done — rebuilding workflows, automating manual processes, and keeping the business running fast as we grow.

You’ll map real-world problems, design smart solutions, and lead the cross-functional delivery to bring them to life.

This role is part product manager, part business analyst, part low-code builder — built for someone who loves untangling messy processes, can rally others around a plan, and isn’t afraid to get hands-on.

Our team is based in Manchester city centre and typically works from the office three days a week. We’re open to different hybrid setups depending on location, though we believe regular in-person time matters in a role like this — where close collaboration and seeing processes in action are critical.

WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH…

We began life as the first property podcast back in 2013, and we’ve since built a property sourcing business that helps our High Net Worth clients to buy more than £100m of property every year.

We’re a content-driven, marketing-led business with huge reach. Our podcast has over 300,000 monthly downloads, we’ve published four of the UK’s top-selling property investment books, and our newsletter and social channels reach tens of thousands every week.

We’ve grown fast but kept our team small — which makes smart systems and automation essential to staying fast, scalable and focused on what matters.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

This is a unique role with a wide remit. You’ll work across teams (finance, customer service, marketing, investment) to understand their needs and build scalable, elegant solutions.

You'll work as part of the executive team and report directly to one of the founders.

You’ll lead a small internal team of Salesforce admins, a data analyst, and specialist contractors — with the freedom to shape the team as the role evolves.

You’ll take responsibility for:

  • Owning the roadmap for internal automation and tooling across the business
  • Leading discovery workshops with team leads to identify pain points and automation candidates
  • Managing delivery of internal projects — coordinating developers, analysts and AI specialists to get things built
  • Choosing and implementing tools for orchestration (like n8n), data flow, and LLM use
  • Making sure automations are robust, documented, and actually adopted by the teams they're built for
  • Tracking and reporting the business impact of everything you ship — whether that’s time saved, costs reduced, or accuracy improved
  • Championing an “automation-first” culture across the company, through coaching, training, and guidance

On a typical day, you might be:

  • Sitting with the customer service team to understand how a manual process works
  • Mapping that process into a flow using n8n, with integrations into Salesforce and Helpscout
  • Coordinating with a Salesforce Admin to ensure clean data and API compatibility
  • Creating a dashboard to track time saved and errors avoided
  • Sharing results with the executive team and setting KPIs for the next quarter’s automation priorities

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You’re someone who loves applying technology to messy processes to make them quicker and more efficient.

You’ll have:

  • Experience owning internal automation or tooling projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of tools like n8n, Zapier, Make.com, or similar low-code platforms
  • Strong understanding of business operations (especially in customer service, finance or CRM-heavy environments)
  • Confidence working with developers and technical specialists to get systems built
  • Excellent project management skills — balancing speed, quality, and stakeholder communication

Bonus points if you’ve:

  • Worked in a lean, founder-led business before
  • Dealt with Salesforce integrations or internal API-based workflows
  • Led training or cultural change around new systems

SOUND LIKE YOU?

If this sounds like the kind of role you’ve been waiting for, let’s talk.

We’ll want to hear examples of times you’ve built systems you’re proud of, the problems they solved, and the impact they had.
